Engineering and Program Management.
As Chief Engineer and Program Manager, I designed and project managed the construction and occupation of 2,000 trading
seats. Through the use of some, then unheard of techniques, I was able to reduce the expected costs by over $4M,
eliminate business risks and trading disruptions. In addition, due to my leadership and management capabilities, the
multi-phased, long-term project came in both under budget and ahead of schedule. My successes here led senior managers to
trust me with several branch office trading installations in the mid-west and on the west coast.
Process engineering.
As process engineer at JPMChase I developed the entire process management environment supporting the
Investment Bank. Some of the more critical developments included: designing and implementing processes to identify and
expose infrastructure risk - resulting in an 80% improvement in the risk posture; defining and installing processes to
reduce systems programming and network maintenance errors that resulted in a 90% improvement in stability and a commesurate
reduction in losses due to down-time.
Service Delivery Manager.
As a Service Delivery Manager, I was tasked to turn around the technology support issues affecting the C level
management of the corporation. Within a very short period, I had reduced technical issues by rebuilding the infrastructure
while increasing the level of the service support staff. A survey conducted by email, paper and face-to-face visits showed
a satisfaction increase from 30% to 100%.
